Nursery Reveal 🤰🏼
Creating this 12ft x 12ft room for my baby girl literally brought me to tears of joy. It’s so peaceful and cozy. It just feels like ‘Quinn’ when I walk in there. All the hours spent DIYing her room was completely worth it, and now it’s your turn!
If you’re embarking on designing a nursery, I’ve got some DIYs coming your way to help! First let’s set realistic expectations: this room didn’t happen overnight. It took two-three months to plan and create, but I am so glad I stuck with it.
With my help, we can shred the time it will take you to recreate this room for your little one.
This room has seven different DIY projects. I’ll be creating a blog post for each DIY project, so you can build along with me!
Don’t worry, I’ll explain every detail. I want you to feel confident that YOU CAN DO THIS! You just have to take a leap of faith, and give yourself grace. And remember, we aren’t aiming for perfection. We are aiming for progression. With every “mistake”, it’s an opportunity to learn and pivot.

I couldn’t be happier with the way the room turned out! Everything flows so well together. I really enjoy the dark green accents against the girly pinks in the room, balanced out by all the whites and natural wood accents. Everything is grounded with this cream plush rug that literally feels like walking on clouds. A barefoot bliss!
Funny story, back when I found out I was having a baby girl I said to myself, “Nope, not painting the room pink. That’s just too obvious. Absolutely not...”. Then, within no time, there I was pinning away and planning the room with blush colors staring me in the face yelling, “Yes, PINK, DO IT!”
After fighting it for weeks, I finally gave in and trashed my mint and yellow themes that I had originally thought I wanted. “Whelp pink, here we come,” I admitted to myself. And it turned out beautifully!
